(2004) Artists' book, reworking a copy of the program from the 2000 Pritzker Prize award ceremony, conceptually derived from Folding Architecture, in which author Sophia Vyzoviti cites Rem Koolhaas' S,M,L,XL as “the most influential unexecuted project of the 90’s” to operate accordng to both the theoretical and practical axioms laid out by Giles Deleuze in his essay Folding in Architecture — originally published by Greg Lynn’s eponymous issue of Architectural Design Profile. And so then: this book was made by reapplying one of Vyzoviti's pleat systems back to Koolhaas and his work in a forhead-slappingly literal fashion. Photograph by g. a. carafelli.
